About Us
Croydon Town Centre Business Improvement District (BID) is a business-led initiative for Central Croydon. Businesses have been brought together to decide how to improve the environment for their employees, customers and clients.
Croydon is the second largest BID in the country, representing approximately 580 companies and generating an investment in excess of £5million for the next 5 year term.
There is a strong supportive business community in Croydon and by working in partnership with key stakeholders, including local businesses, Croydon Council and the Metropolitan Police, the BID Company aim is to enhance the Town Centre offering by delivering projects under six key themes, which form the main objectives of the BID company.
- Create a safer and more secure area
- Improve the perception and image of Croydon Town Centre
- Make Croydon Town Centre cleaner and create a more attractive environment
- Improve the accessibility to and within the area
- Act as a facilitator and collective voice for the businesses
- Deliver a series of festivals and events to enhance cultural pride in the Town Centre
